About the event
The BEYOND Art Collective and the Cherry Gallery present “Journey BEYOND Time,” an immersive and interactive multimedia art experience featuring the work of more than 20 regional artists, opening from Wednesday, April 6 to Saturday, April 30 in the Arthaus building at 130 Cherry Street, Ithaca, NY. Building on the success of BEYOND’s hugely popular interactive exhibit on the Downtown Ithaca Commons last Summer, this all-new exhibit features a Time Blender created by a mysterious Professor in their laboratory, a Crystal Cave, a mysterious Enchanted Forest, a mystical Ancient Future, a giant walk-in alligator called Bad Juju, and more! This family-friendly exhibit is appropriate for all ages and has something for everyone to experience. Exhibit hours are 5:00-9:00 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 12:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays; a suggested donation of $5-10 is requested at the door, with no one turned away. A Gala Grand Opening event called TIMELESS will be held at the Gallery on Friday, April 8 from 8:00 PM – Midnight, featuring a Silent Disco and multiple area music producer/DJs, and the public is welcome.
